  1. Delicious dinner with typical lobster rolls and clam chowder.
Four friends and I shared a fried high tide platter, and then everybody got a main dish: four amazing lobster rolls and a superb mac & cheese (a good surprise). I also ordered a tasty clam chowder. The food was accompanied by water and a bottle of white wine. The check was $300, tip included.

  2. My wife and I had an amazing lunch at High Tide Restaurant & Bar in Brewer, ME. The ambiance was contemporary and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for a lovely meal with a view. We were seated quickly, with only a 5-minute wait, and the service throughout was excellent. My wife started with a cup of clam chowder, which was the best we’ve had during our trip—it was flavorful and hearty. She followed that with a burger and fries, which were fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich special, and it did not disappoint. The roll was toasted to perfection, and the chicken, coated with sauce and melted cheese, was tender and tasty. The fries that came with our meals were hot and crispy. We especially loved that the restaurant is situated right on the waterfront, offering beautiful views of the river and the Bangor skyline. Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Maine, with great food, quick service, and a stunning location.

  3. We’re from AZ & we’re looking for a place open after 8pm since we just travelled all day. This place was convenient and had seafood options that we can’t get in AZ. They had indoor/outdoor seating and plenty of parking. It sits on the water and is very close to airport. Service was great as was the food. We had the Salmon with crab, the prime rib special and lemon cake (so tasty). Highly recommend!

  4. It was our first time visiting Bangor, Maine, and we decided to try High Tide Restaurant. From start to finish, our experience was excellent! The Caesar salad, lobster bisque and clam chowder were exceptionally delicious and set the bar high for the rest of the meal. For our main course, we ordered two lobster rolls—one cold and one hot—to taste the difference. Both were fantastic, but I’d definitely recommend the hot lobster roll! The buttery, toasted bread elevated the flavor and made it unforgettable. The service was also top-notch; our server was amazing, and we wish we could remember her name. We’ll absolutely be back, and we highly recommend High Tide!

  5. I really wanted to love this place based on all the great reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. The portions were surprisingly small, and the seafood didn’t taste fresh at all—it had that frozen vibe. The shrimp platter? Honestly, the smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen. And the fish and chips? Had a weird, almost fishy aftertaste that wasn’t pleasant. Overall, I wasn’t impressed.
