Hot Numbers – Trumpington St Cafe

1. I was having a day trip to Cambridge and the weather was cold and rainy. I was looking for something hot to drink to warm up myself. This cafe is a gem. Located in the center. The hot chocolate was delicious. The service was quick and excellent. The price was great. I highly recommend it if you’re in the city.

2. Legendary local coffee outlet, roasting nearby and supplying some other cafes too. Love their hardcore insistence that coffee may come in many lengths but only two forms, espresso with or without steamed milk! This is some of the best coffee in Cambridge, though; it doesn’t need to be complicated 😊

3. Great little place in the heart of Cambridge. Shame the same could not be said for their “famed” bacon sarnie – one of the reasons I chose to visit – or their service. Crispy bacon sarnie (listed separately to a normal one) was lukewarm, not crispy and fatty. No sauces offered or provided. Didn’t get the coffee expert vibe. Appeared disorganised. Only plusses were the scrambled eggs (which were delicious) and the look of the sandwiches. Unfortunately couldn’t send the sarnie back as we had a walking tour booked and didn’t have time.

4. The best coffee shop in Cambridge serving single origin coffee. Staff knows their coffee well and makes nice recommendation. Tried the SOE long black and can’t resist!

5. If you’re looking for the perfect spot in Cambridge for a cozy atmosphere, great music, and excellent breakfast, coffee, or desserts, you should definitely visit this café. The interior is beautifully decorated and immediately envelops you in a calm and cozy ambiance. Their music creates a perfect setting for relaxation or work. And their matcha? Absolutely fantastic – smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The service is very friendly, and I love coming back here. This place is a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy quality coffee and desserts in a pleasant environment.
