Huxo

1. Went here with my parents and we all loved it, my mum isn’t a fan of Italian Food but she loved it. The food was extravagant and staff was nicer than anywhere I have been, I ordered the chicken wrap which combined most of my least favourite food and made it nicer than I could’ve ever imagined my dad got a Penne broccoli pasta in a hux sauce which he gobbled down in minutes, the seats are very comfy and it felt so calm, there is these bubble things scattered around that make it look very nice and I cannot eat anywhere else after this experience 10/10 I would recommend this to everyone I talk to, they do more than just Italian foods such as chicken nuggets and burgers for the kids as well as wagyu beef burgers and steaks. The food arrived at a perfect time nice and warm the veg was very fresh and we loved every bite. For what seems like a family business it is very luxurious and friendly.

2. First time visiting Huxo and we’ll be back. Lovely birthday dinner tonight for my daughter. Food was fab, we had starters, pizza, carbonara and the chicken broccoli creamy pasta. Cheesecake and cocktails rounded off a delicious meal. Good service, food came out quickly. Restaurant was very quiet although we were there at 5pm which might explain it. Can’t believe it wasn’t busier.

3. Place was lovely and the staff were very nice.
   Food wasn’t great when we visited and a lot of things from the menu wasn’t available. We were served calamari that we had to send back because they were strangely bitter. Overall a mediocre experience. A bit pricey for what it is.

4. I was somewhat disappointed. On sitting down we were told no fish dishes whatsoever. So I ordered linguine with sun dried tomatoes. Instead I got overcooked spaghetti with cherry tomatoes. Also got still water instead of the sparkling water I ordered. There were no other customers in the restaurant. Maybe their more skilled chefs only cater to the lunchtime customers.

5. Fabulous accomadiating staff lovely place for a family to eat. We were looking for mash gravy and chicken takeaway for our nurodivergent son they cooked the chicken especially, the waiter was so kind and so helpful and gave us exactly what we needed. We appreciated this so much as had tried a few places previous to this. Thank you so much Huxo it meant more than you know!! if we are ever around Northern Ireland again we will definitely be giving ye our business xx
