  1. Good Food is hands down the best Kerala food spot in Liverpool, offering both fantastic flavors and a great dining vibe. Their Fish Mango Curry strikes a perfect balance of sweet mango and fresh fish, while the Chicken Curry is rich and comforting. The Beef Curry (Coconut Roasted) brings deep, smoky flavors that stand out. Beyond the food, the restaurant has a warm, welcoming aesthetic with great service, adding to the overall experience. The atmosphere and delicious dishes make it a must-visit! Highly recommended!🤩

  2. My friends and I recently visited Ikkayees in Liverpool, and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had! The food was absolutely incredible, especially the biryani—it was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and so authentic. Every dish we tried was full of taste, and the presentation was top-notch.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. They were attentive and friendly( Alphy was amazing)which made our meal even more enjoyable. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion goes into everything at Ikkayees.

We left with happy hearts and full stomachs, and we’ll definitely be back soon! Wishing the Ikkayees team all the success—keep up the amazing work!

  3. Dining at Ikayees, a gem specialising in authentic Kerala cuisine, and I must say, it was an extraordinary culinary journey. Each dish was a masterful blend of flavours and spices, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Kerala.

Firstly, King Fish Mango Curry, a dish that truly stands out, my personal favourite. The tender king fish was perfectly cooked, with the tangy mango adding a delightful contrast to the rich, spicy gravy. The balance of flavours was impeccable, with the sweetness of the mango perfectly complementing the heat of the spices.

Next, we savoured the Kerala Beef Ularthiyathu (Coconut Infused), new to the menu. This dish was a revelation, with succulent pieces of beef marinated in a medley of spices and slow-cooked to perfection. The infusion of coconut added a subtle sweetness that elevated the dish, making each bite an explosion of flavour.

The Chicken Kappa Biriyani was another highlight of our meal. The combination of tender chicken and mashed tapioca (kappa) was unique and flavourful. The spices were well-balanced, creating a harmonious blend that was both comforting and exciting. Each mouthful was a testament to the chef’s skill in marrying traditional Kerala flavours with innovative techniques.

To accompany these dishes, we had Appam, which were soft, fluffy, and slightly crispy at the edges. They were the perfect vehicle to soak up the delicious gravies and curries, enhancing the overall dining experience.

To wash it all down, we enjoyed a refreshing Mango Lassi. The lassi was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness and tangy. It was the perfect way to cleanse the palate and cool down after indulging in the spicy dishes.

Overall, Ikayees delivered an exceptional dining experience, with each dish showcasing the vibrant and diverse flavours of Kerala cuisine. The skilful use of spices and fresh ingredients, combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere, made our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend Ikayees to anyone looking to experience authentic Kerala flavours in all their glory.

  4. The restaurant is amazing! We went for our dinner. We had pulinji chicken and habibi fish for starters. I would rate 4.5/5 for pulinji chicken and 4/5 for habibi fish. Pulinji chicken had a good taste with the tangy flavour. Habibi fish taste was absolutely amazing but price is high. Must try would be the aapam and king prawn mango curry! Such a stunner! Well cooked and tasted delicious. We didn’t try beef items. The people here were friendly. It took some long time for the food to come once ordered. Other than that, I would give 9.5/10 for this place! Chicken kothu was very good in taste.

  5. This is a newly opened place in Liverpool where you can get some yummy Kerala and Indian food. The ambience of the place is good and the food is at a different level. I will say one must surely give it a try. They are famous for their Kozhikode Biriyani, but we fell in love with their Chicken tikka Biriyani, which gave us memories of great biriyani we had while in Mumbai. I would surely keep visiting this place.
