This is a beautiful spot right in town in Southampton. The restaurant offers spacious indoor and outdoor dining. I loved that the outdoor terrace was covered in beautiful hydrangeas. Service was excellent and the food was tasty! My friends and I ordered many of the dishes on the menu and were blown away by the flavors. Looking forward to going back for another visit to try the rest!
Wow! What an experience ! So glad there is finally a restaurant in SH worth visiting. The vibe was immaculate, great lighting , great music, amazing drinks. Staff thoroughly made me feel like I belonged here. But let’s be realistic, the Chef is what really did it for me, the food was AMAZING! I am very happy I got a reservation here! The price point was very good for Southampton!
Il Pelicano brings a fresh vibe, new menu, and the delicious food of Rocco DiSpirito to Southampton. Service was also impeccable — a new “must visit” when you’re out east.
Loved it! Have always been a huge fan of Rocco and just reinforced how talented he is. Starters were killer, especially the local ingredients, fish and flavors. Terrific service, lovely setting and a beautiful space. Just a wonderful evening and terrific restaurant — look forward to my next trip!
Rocco DiSpirito is breathing fresh life into the old Post House Restaurant in Southampton. Although open mostly in the evenings this summer, brunch is offered on Sundays and we enjoyed some of their regular menu items plus a superlative Lobster Eggs Benedict (2 perfectly poached eggs atop sliced ham over two English muffins plus (get this!) half a perfectly cooked Maine lobster. Over the top wonderful! We sampled five or six menu items in addition, including the nicely priced Jamon Iberico, an octet of Foxley River (PEI) Oysters on the half shell, Tomatoes on Toast (fun!), Italian BLT Salad (where the “B” is Burrata not bacon, and a superb local tuna crudo. All first rate. Let’s hope Rocco makes the Post House his permanent Hamptons digs. Bravo, chef!
