itsu – Milton Keynes

1. Good sushi option with reasonable prices. 30 minutes before closing all the available options gets 50% off which is a good deal (very competitive to get them too).

2. Had a chicken gyoza noodle bowl. Actually very nice. Good gyoza. Super quick almost like they are just microwaving them 😜

3. Amazing atmosphere and lovely staff, I always come here when I’m in MK 🫶🏼 thanks to Steve and his other colleagues today they were amazing

4. Nice atmosphere, clean. Abrupt but pleasant service.
   Food is too salty, overwhelming. Pots are compact and loaded into a mess of food. Our chicken katsu had hot rice but near cold chicken but obviously attempted to warm up – no one checked the temperature of the chicken. No surprise next day, I had an upset stomach. The sushi was pathetically put together, falling apart like brittle rice and very small portions inside. This is an over priced (not good value). The ITSU in Canary Wharf London was so much better than this one.

5. I had a disappointing experience at Itsu MK. The automated till system was creating receipts for take-away orders, but not for eat-in orders, which should have included VAT. When I asked Emily, the manager, about the receipt and the till issue, she said she didn’t know and couldn’t help. She offered to cancel the order but couldn’t generate a receipt. I was on a business trip and without a receipt, I couldn’t claim the expense, so I had to pay £40 out of pocket. Additionally, once the food arrived, I noticed that the information on the food boxes and cups was incorrect. Overall, it was not a pleasant visit, and I left feeling disappointed.
