  1. Javier’s new remodel encapsulates this amazing ambiance all around you! All workers were extremely friendly and helpful in menu choices as well as constantly being on top of refilling water and chips/salsa. The food is outstanding, the Dungeness crab and shrimp enchilada was packed full with flavor and you can still taste the seafood with the sauce and cheese all around it. I think with how they took a decent amount of time in between appetizers and entrees could be a bit contrasting in the eyes of the beholder, however we had a bigger group so they pushed all the food out at once which made it much better than waiting for individual plates, and you can fill up on more chips and salsa in the meantime. Overall amazing experience and I’ll be coming back soon

  2. Javier’s in Newport Beach is an absolute must-visit, especially after their recent remodel! The place is breathtaking—so bright and open, and the cozy chairs make you want to stay all day. The service was top-notch; we had Joel as our server, and he was incredible. Now, the food—wow! I had the steak fajitas, and the beef was seriously the best I’ve ever tasted. If you’re in Newport Beach, don’t miss this spot. And bonus, we spotted Keith Morrison from Dateline leaving the parking lot. Gotta love a good celebrity sighting!

  3. Nice big airy restaurant with an ocean view. 2 fireplaces in the front waiting area. Might be a good experience for a sunset dinner. 1st time having mole poblano. The sauce was subtle, reminiscent of a thicken-ragu with a hint of spice n chocolate. The chicken legs were small, well cooked n definitely not free-range. Came with rice n corn/flower tortillas. The crab enchiladas had a light sauce n was well-seasoned. This was well executed as it showcased the fresh n delicious main ingredient, crab.
The chicken taco was disappointing. Dried under flavoured chicken.
Tip included with party of 6+

  4. Came here on my anniversary and had a great experience. The restaurant was very nice and the weather was beautiful. My service was excellent and the server was very nice and attentive. Had some trouble with parking but decided to get valet service and for $10 it was worth it not having to hassle over parking. I will be coming back again for the great experience.

  5. Yep, all the hype! We were a party of seven but I probably got the best food amongst our group–Fajitas. Tender, juicy, plentiful! Well, everyone loved their food. The art, decor, lighting, location is worth the experience.
