  1. Managed to find me a table on a busy Friday night despite the fact I hadn’t booked and was on my own – a lot of other places wouldn’t do that! I’m so happy they did, the food came out fast and was just lovely, plus it was fairly priced. The staff were also lovely and attentive! Highly recommend.

  2. Didn’t expect this place to be good based on the photos in google review(can tell 100% not authentic) but didn’t expect it to be that bad. Fiance wanted to give it a go so we went. The ramen was like a home made instant noodles but costs 18 pounds and the sushi…. the sushi rice was soooo wet like they don’t even know how to cook rice properly. Don’t get how they think they can put a high price tag on their food – not good at all so sorry to say.
One good thing is, the place looks clean, but not the flowers on the plate with food which made me wonder if they re-use…..

  3. What a great find. We were in Belfast for the weekend and wanted to get some sushi whilst we were there. Googled it and Kamakura came up. It’s got a lovely atmosphere, the service was friendly and efficient and the food was lovely. Really well priced too. Would definitely go again if in Belfast.

  4. We stayed in Belfast for 2 nights as we were trading in Q-con. I looked up places for Ramen and this place came up first. I seen the rating and I was like it can be true… But surprisingly.. it is. It deserves 5 stars. The sushi was really nice and fresh! And we were surprised the portions were big! I barely could finish my bowl of ramen🍜. I had the vegetarian one and omg it was the best soup I’ve ever had. Tofu was exquisite!!!
For dessert I had purin and it was delicious, so was the Mochi.
We were impressed by the food and we would definitely come back.
It was a bit pricey but it was worth it.

  5. This is the first time I am trying Japanese cuisine. Despite not being exceptional, it was an enjoyable experience. The appetizer particularly impressed me. Service was decent and quite helpful. They have a nice ambiance. Drinks and food were well presented.
