  1. I have visited Karak Chaii multiple times and have always had a positive experience. The staff has been welcoming and friendly. However, during my recent visit, I asked the girl at the counter to wrap the chai with plastic, as I was carrying them alone for takeaway. She refused, stating that this service is only for Uber drivers and not for other takeaways, which came across as rude. Additionally, the samosas were burnt, and no sauce was provided. I am really disappointed with this experience.

  2. I ordered the desi breakfast, an opted for the pratha option, was quite surprised when I received two pieces of wrap breads with a bit of butter on, I’m pretty sure thats not a pratha, the beans and omelette were okay to be honest and the tea was okay too

  3. Unfortunately the food arrived with a lid that had melted and the contents thrown out of the container all over the tea! That’s not the worst bit! It was Karak Chai that swore blind they double wrapped it and must have been the drivers fault. You sent a damaged container with my order in it!

  4. Wasn’t sure if I wanted to give it a 1 star or 2 but decided to be nice.

No issues with the service provided by the staff but the rest of it was just so disappointing.

Ordered 2 desi breakfasts, 1 with an omelette & the other with what was supposed to be scrambled egg. What arrived, well 2 omelettes but 1 cut up into pieces to make it look like scrambled egg ( didn’t do a good job trying to disguise it).

Channa & masala beans were like warm at best however I gave to say that the frozen parathas that get used were actually cooked well. I think it’s the tea & paratha that stopped me from giving it a 1 star rating.

Also the place could do with a lick of paint & some attention to the decor that was not in the best of condition.
