Kate’s Café Lounge

1. We had the best breakfast experience in the UK thanks to Kate’s Café! A small, cozy restaurant with great and welcoming atmosphere and incredibly friendly Staff. The food was impeccable, fresh and so good we ordered twice.
   My personal favorite was the salmon bagel and the full English breakfast ❤️ we will definitely come back 🙂

2. The second time, very disappointed. The reason is that my boyfriend and I both order a similar brunch, he has ham + egg + chips, and I have sausage + egg + chips. When the waitress came, she made a mistake about our food, so my boyfriend took mine as his and sprinkled vinegar on the fries. And then we immediately reacted, so I said I’d change the fries. The waitress asked for an extra charge and accused us of being the problem. I feel very angry about this and I don’t mind paying extra, but I don’t accept that it’s my problem. Her explanation of the incident: When he offered my dish to my boyfriend, my boyfriend said yes. But saying yes is just a habitual colloquial word that means yes pls. You’re a waitress. Figure out customers orders ur responsibility. Plus, what’s even funnier is that I’ve never been accused by a waitress in a restaurant, telling me in my face that this is my problem and I’m going to pay for it. I am very unhappy with this service and will not come again.

3. Been here a few times so wanted to take my girlfriend here when she was visiting. It’s amazing how It gets better every time. You can tell everything is quality sourced and it was cooked to perfection. Also, I will definitely be putting chives on my mushrooms from now on! Keep independent spots like this alive my friends.

4. excellent food first class service all food is selected by onwer/head chef meat from owtons perserves and honey from her mum’s own bees and fruit trees.
   i always buy the light breakfast not too big and very filling and at a resonable price

5. Very nice breakfast, I selected the Royale salmon and eggs, chefs are amazing. 10/10.

   Very Good value for money and fresh products. I will be returning!👏
