Hash browns were really good. Mocha tasted like soap. Lemon meringue pie has a nice lemon flavour but meringue was very sticky. The atmosphere was immediately made uncomfortable by who I’m guessing is the manager, yelling at staff and a homeless man and being generally rude to everyone. Felt bad for the staff. My first time there today, don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
Portions are huge. Each dish really meant for sharing. Has the scrambled egg and omelette dishes
Both are quite salty but not too bad
Come here if you want big portions
Coffee not nice even for the blue mountain coffee
We called into this little coffee shop before going to a museum.
We each had a cappuccino and a slice of key lime pie.
It was a good cuppa and the pie was scrummy – very filling, lovely and firm too, I could stand my metal fork in it.
There’s a toilet (wheelchair accessible)
Seating inside and outside.
A nice little stop off and recharge.
Disappointed to see there was no banoffee pie! Came a few years ago and it was so delicious that we made a trip back. Unfortunately non on display and the guy taking the order wasn’t very helpful or approachable, as we wanted to check if it’ll be back to the menu. Could we get a response on here?
Wow, delicious! This morning tried the American breakfast and everything was great! Best hast browns I ever had, amazing pancake, great bacon and eggs, everything cooked to perfection. You have to order at the counter, was not the most enthusiastisch, but the overall food and experience was one of few Highlights in our stay in Liverpool.
