KIN+ILK St Davids

1. I’ve been to multiple Kin + Ilks in cardiff city and this one was easily the busiest, expected given its location.

   It’s one of the best in the town for its coffee and hot drinks, especially the dark hot chocolate. They have got 2 variants of dark hot chocolate drinks – one with 50% and the other with 70% dark chocolate content. I had instantly fallen in love with the 70% dark chocolate and have never ordered anything else ever since.

   Location & Ambiance
   It’s located by the Hayes and the Starbucks (St David’s mall one), next door to Cozy Club. It’s got ample outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. It’s an ideal space for Work from Cafe set up. Yes, there are a few tables with charging plugs by it.

   Food & Drinks:
   The menu has plenty of tea/ coffee options and other hot drinks – all of which are good and at decent pricing. They also serve cold drinks, but I wouldn’t recommend any.

   Service:
   There is table service. They are friendly and hospitable, although not the quickest.

   Verdict: A good place to hangout with friends/ go on a date and spend some quality time over a hot beverage. Would recommend it for working with laptop as well.

2. While exploring Cardiff, I stopped by KIN+ILK for a coffee break. The café itself was small, with a modest décor that gave it a cosy, unpretentious feel. I ordered a black Americano, which turned out to be quite good—smooth and well-brewed.

   Most of the customers seemed to be working on their laptops, which contributed to the overall quiet and relaxing atmosphere. It felt like the kind of place where you could chill and focus, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful coffee break.

   For anyone looking for a decent cup of coffee in Cardiff, KIN+ILK is definitely worth a visit.

3. Amazing place for brunches, hot/cold drinks. Atmosphere is lovely, staff is very kind and a perfect place to study, work, meet up with friends. Drinks are of very good quality.

4. KIN+ILK St Davids is a gem! The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing coffee break or a productive work session. Their coffee is top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great variety of delicious options, making it a favorite spot of mine in St Davids. Highly recommend!
