I recently had a profoundly disappointing experience at Krispy Kreme that I feel compelled to share. My visit was marked by a blatant lack of customer service and a disturbing disregard for patrons.
Upon arriving, we were shocked to see all the chairs placed on top of the tables, giving the clear impression that the store was either closed or undergoing some sort of cleaning. However, despite this setup, the doors were still open, and we expected to be able to purchase some of their famous doughnuts.
For the next two hours, we observed the staff inside doing the bare minimum. They were pretending to clean but were clearly doing so just to avoid serving any customers. It was evident that they were intentionally creating an unwelcoming atmosphere to discourage anyone from staying.
This behavior is unacceptable for a brand that prides itself on hospitality and quality service. The lack of effort and the disrespect shown to customers who had come to enjoy their products was astonishing. This experience has severely tainted my perception of Krispy Kreme, and I hope the management takes immediate steps to address such issues.
I understand that everyone has off days, but this was beyond just a bad day. It was a clear attempt to shirk responsibilities at the expense of customer satisfaction. I hope no one else has to endure such an experience.
I came to enjoy a doughnut with my children, there were plenty to choose from and the coffee was amazing, too. Unfortunately, the doughnuts are so expensive. Thank you to Rachel, who was so kind to tell to the children more about the doughnuts.
I’m giving 4 stars because I liked more the atmosphere when there were more seats and the coffee was prepared manually (not by pushing a button). Now it seems that KK prefers you to buy and leave. Hospitality should have been one of their main values.
Overall, nice place with tasty doughnuts, coffee and good customer service.
By far the nicest Krispy Kreme I have been in for a while. The staff were wonderful the gent behind the counter was very happy to serve and even took my drink to a table for me to save me struggling. I use a walking stick. Great cuppa and a tastey treat what more could you want.
Impeccable service over the weekend. They gave us an extra donut after overhearing our private debate in which to get (ordering 2 donuts, stuck between 3). That took us by surprise and completely made our day. That worker deserves a raise! It’s little gestures like this that make me a repeat customer
I don’t often leave reviews for places. But it was my sons birthday today and he wanted a Krispy Kreme. We were served by a lovely girl called Rachel. She was so lovely as it was his birthday and hope someone at Southampton branch sees this review. Amazing member of staff you have and meant alot how nice she was
