  1. Not great customer service
Arrived at 6.10pm it wasn’t too busy and waited only a short 5mins for a table of 3, took the order quickly which was great because we hoped to be in and out before 7.30 thinking it would be enough time to get a main course. Ordered 3 10” pizzas and one chip..we were sitting close to the kitchen and counter where they took out the food and could see a margarita pizza sitting under the lights for about 10 mins but still no sign of our food. Shortly after 7.10 they brought down the margarita that was sitting for a while and a bbq pizza, we still waited for the last pizza. 5 mins go by and I asked about the missing pizza the waitress said it wouldn’t be long and a further 5 mins go by still no sign of the pizza and asked again. I had seen them finishing preparing what looked like a chicken chip kebab pizza and thought ok it won’t be much longer but the waitress took it and two other pizzas to another table that were seated after us. For a third time I had to ask where my food was and was told it was going into the oven only now was that ok? I told them no it wasn’t the other two at my table were nearly finished their food and we had planned to be somewhere else at 7.30 to give it in a takeaway box. A few minutes passed and the waitress brought the pizza down and had to ask again to put it in a takeaway box that we were nearly finished and were leaving soon. Another waitress came down and said she took the pizza off the bill and said sorry and left. No one really seemed to care and muttered sorry without any real sincerity. It’s not great service when someone at the table has to watch the rest eat and repeatedly ask where their food is. It would be nice if the young staff could take initiative and finish serving a table with missing food instead of continuing to serve other tables and not care. The pizza itself when I got to eat it at home was mediocre at best. We honestly thought an hour and half would have given us plenty of time but waiting nearly an hour for a bit of pizza isn’t worth going back for.

  2. I ordered a curry chicken chip… absolutely bogging.. a sponeful of curry in it . Undercooked chips and a tiny bit of chicken needless to say I couldn’t eat it. I’m very dissatisfied and will never eat from there ever again !! A total waste of money !!!

  3. Don’t normally leave reviews, but today I was very disappointed. Took 2 hours for my pizza to finally arrive, which they also forgot my drink. I still had to pay full price for it all. (Fair play to the delivery driver, he did offer to go back it)

Dolce vita used to be the best place in town. Standards have dropped drastically
