We recently visited this Italian restaurant and had what we believe to be the best pizza outside of Italy – Sicilian-style, and full of flavour! Every bite was a true delight, and the quality really stood out.
The staff were attentive and polite, making the experience smooth and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for an authentic pizza spot in London, or an Italian eatery, then this place is definitely worth checking out.
La Mia Mamma on Kensington Park Road, London, is a delightful culinary gem that I recently discovered. I began my meal with the Salami board, which was absolutely delicious, featuring a variety of high-quality salamis that set the tone for the rest of the dining experience. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a couple of their cocktail offerings, including the Etna Volcano—a particularly nice choice. For those who prefer beer, they also offer Moretti, which pairs well with the food. The main courses were the highlight, with two outstanding dishes: the Rigatoni Pesto Pistachio and the Rigatoni Polpettine. Both were incredibly flavorful, with the pasta cooked to perfection and the sauces rich and satisfying. These dishes were a true testament to the restaurant’s dedication to authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant’s location is another plus, as it’s just a short walk from the charming Notting Hill shops. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. However, given its popularity, the wait can be a bit long, so I recommend taking the first available seat to avoid delays. In summary, La Mia Mamma is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking delicious Italian food in a vibrant, lively setting. It’s a great find in the area, and I highly recommend it.
We went there for lunch. We were greeted nicely and sat down really fast. We tried to order an appetizer platter and a main to split between 2 but the waitress told us that we had to order minimum 1 main per person which was weird because we would have spent more if we could have done like we said. Anyway the food came rather quick, we had Alla Norma, pasta with pistachio and salsiccia, a mind of Al amatriciana, and 2 pizzas. Fair prices, the wine was also very good. The only thing to mention was the problem with the order, the rest was really nice.
Delicious, genuine Italian food. The mama’s don’t disappoint! The cacio e Pepe was top notch and the pizza was perfection – decent portion sizes. This restaurant is also located in a gorgeous part of town too. Highly recommend!
I recently visited La Mia Mama, a restaurant I had been eagerly wanting to try for years, and it did not disappoint! From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—friendly and efficient, quickly seating me at a lovely outdoor table. The highlight of my meal was the traditional pistachio and guanciale rigatoni, which was simply divine. To top it off, the pistachio tiramisu was even better, leaving a lasting impression. I wholeheartedly recommend La Mia Mama and am already looking forward to my next visit!
