La Reina Café – Trumpington Meadows

1. It’s so nice to see Trumpington meadows finally have a cafe, the community has been waiting for this for over a decade! A welcoming spot with affordable coffee prices and great coffee. The food was delicious, we tried the Deluxe Chicken and Italian Salami focaccia Buns which were huge and well worth the £6.75 price, we were given a discount for buying food with coffee and they even toasted our food for us. Highly recommend!

2. The cafe is nice, and provides diary free milk options (at extra cost). However, there weren’t any vegan options, which I think they would benefit from serving. Just one item would do it!

   The seats are comfy but the music is quite loud and intrusive.

3. Drinks were prepared and served quickly, the carrot cake was delicious, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfy

4. Very cute place. Coffee and cake was good and the staff is excellent

5. Nice presentation of tea. Oat milk latte was tasty. Free WiFi. Outlets available. Plenty of lighting. Beautiful decor. When paying with card, the card reader doesn’t have an option to tip, but if you want to there is a jar next to the card reader. Plenty of seating, including outdoor. Note that the toilet is labeled as staff only as of June 9th 2024
