Lahpet Shoreditch

1. Amazing sharing-plate style food that is just delicious! My partner and I shared 1 starter and 2 mains and some rice, but perhaps should have ordered less. It was all wonderful, with fantastic flavours. We took extra home and it was still just as good the next day!

2. Tasty food and reasonable prices. I got a vegetable curry and their flatbread which was tasty. They also have a good drink selection. I got a white wine which originally didn’t arrive cold enough, but they allowed me to exchange it for another wine, which did arrive cold.

   As a starter we wanted to get the jungle chicken, which had run out but is supposed to be amazing. The waitress helpfully recommended the vegetarian fritters instead, which we liked.

3. Visited Laphet this week and was really impressed.

   The food was amazing and the service was very good. The octopus salad was insane and the beef curry was so nice.

   The only thing I thought that was maybe a little lacking was the atmosphere. It was a bit non existent.

   But overall I thought it was good and would come back again.

4. It was my first time trying Burmese food, and I was quite impressed. The Whole Fried Bream was absolutely delicious. The fish was fried perfectly. I think the menu and flavors are quite similar to Thai food. If you’re planning to go, I recommend making a reservation.

5. Our visit to Lahpet Shoreditch was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The interiors are stunning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal. The food was delicious, with each dish offering a unique burst of flavor. We enjoyed the Shan noodles, coconut noodles with chicken, fritter platter, yellow pea paratha, and fried chicken—every bite was fantastic. The service was splendid, with attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and we highly recommend it.
