Superb
Great food
Great service
Great view
This is a must when visiting the area. A great beach for a day and a venue to eat and to watch the tide roll in.
The muscles were just what I wanted.
The loos were downstairs and out of the way so you could fart while pooping without being judged by the other diners.
We visited here before for drinks only and the food looked superb so we booked for Sunday lunch. Food was delicious we booked a table online and our request to eat indoors was acknowledged. Sunday lunch was served piping hot and cooked perfectly. You can order other meals on a Sunday if you want too. Staff were attentive. A beautiful setting for a good quality meal. Plenty of car parking spaces around the back too. Well worth a visit we will definitely return here.
Super fresh ingredients, well-crafted menu catering to all tastes and in line with the season. You can get 2 courses for £32, which lets you pick any from the menu (ex. Specials). Sometimes these set menus can be quite limiting in choice, as well as mediocre quality, but this was done exceptionally well and the food was fresh & delicious.
Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and amazing views of the sea.
Incredible experience this is the second time we have been and absolutely loved it. Specifically giving it a 5 star review for one of the best croque Monsieur I have ever had and I love sandwiches. It came as to almost croissant style buns stuffed with Parma and melty cheese with a nice understated flavour of mustard cutting through. Absolutely brilliant and if you got a portion of chips I imagine a couple could share for a light lunch. Brilliant!
I left wanting more and not feeling completely satisfied …
Langland’s Brasserie is a very popular restaurant in an extremely beautiful setting, while also being a tourist hotspot. Over many years of visiting, most of the time, I have had good experiences, and on some occasions when it’s extremely busy, it’s been unbearable.
However, I must say, based on my visit today and despite it being very busy, the restaurant side seemed to keep food standards high for everyone else but me, with everyone else raving about their choices.
I decided to be abit more adventurous than the rest of the party with Dorset Escargot with garlic butter & parsley, served with bread, and Bouillabaisse of cod, mussels, king prawn & calamari, crusty toasted sourdough topped with rouille.
Unfortunately, I did not rate the Escargots, and I believe they were poorly cooked and way too chewy compared to other restaurants I have had these. Despite the amazing flavours, I was also not too impressed with the portion size of the Bouillabaisse of cod and the chewy calamari … I felt everyone else got a lot more for their money.
I would recommend trying the Langland Brasserie as I have had very memorable days and evenings here with outstanding quality … I now just know what to avoid on the menu.
