Laz @Camden Restaurant

1. There are many amazing food spots in Camden – Laz is unfortunately not one of them. Maybe I am alone in thinking this, but when I see an item on the menu that’s a mixed grill for £26.95, I’m expecting a good portion. What arrived on our table was absolutely abysmal. The chicken wings were positively anaemic and I’ve never seen a mixed grill so stingy – I counted three cubes of chicken and two lamb. No kofte in sight despite it being listed on the menu. Extremely overpriced for what you get, I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere to get your fix for Turkish cuisine

2. I just enjoyed a delicious kunefe at Laz Camden, the best Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant in Camden! With constantly refreshed tea, studying here in such a lovely atmosphere is a true pleasure. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Treat yourself to Turkish raki from their extensive bar – it’s the perfect way to indulge!

3. Amazing! Couldn’t recommend more… date or family this place caters to all!!
   Sat outside people watching in Camden with a lovely glass of wine. Dined inside had 5 of their small plates between 2 was more than filling every dish was a delight! The wine is exceptional and service is 10/10

   Value for cost/ experience 10/10

Going simply based on ambiance this restaurant looks and feels amazing, I have not rated here as yet so I won’t pretend to know about the quality of the food, but the look and feel of this place is lovely. I’ve been in here on several occasions and the feel is always the same so it’s one of the places I plan to sit and eat in. It’s situated only around a five minute walk from Camden station so it’s easy to get to, parking is possible just outside in paid bays.

   The inside is beautifully decorated and looks like a place your date would be impressed with for sure, my next mission is to try the food, it has a very impressive bar at the back of the restaurant and the cooking is done in the basement area. The staff are polite and friendly and one in particular has been there for years so you have degree of consistency. On this review it’s mainly photos of the venue as opposed to comments about the food so please let me know of your experience.

5. I recently dined at Laz Camden and overall, the experience was pleasant. The food, while not extraordinary, was satisfying. What truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the attentive guy. He ensured our needs were met promptly and served us with utmost care. Would recommend for a decent meal and great service.
