Leaf

1. We didn’t have any food at Leaf, but enjoyed a couple chais. While the atmosphere is wonderful, great music and decor, the staff were a bit all over the place. People were serving the same tables or not serving them at all.

2. Good value, tons of tea options as you’d expect. Friendly staff, well worth a visit (book ahead)!

3. Stopped in after some thrifting in nearby shops, unfortunately it wasn’t for us. Perhaps we came on a bad day but the service was very slow. We waited 20 minutes for the bill which was quite expensive. Also had better eggs benedict if we are being honest, the poached eggs were solid in the middle, not the usual runny texture you’d expect with eggs benedict. The pancakes were tasty but very sweet and doughy so we did not finish them. Perhaps our own fault for ordering such a sweet breakfast. Seems like a great spot, hopefully just caught on a bad day.

4. We came here as the restaurant looks so nice. There were lots of empty tables but took so long to be seated. We explained my Mum was gluten free and they left a book of ingredients on our table with no explanation of what my Mum could order. To say the service is slow is an understatement. We waited ages for our drinks and food. My Mum’s gluten free sandwich was dry, no butter and tasteless. We then waited so long for the bill I had to go up to the bar to pay. There are so many wonderful, quirky places to get here so I would most definitely NOT recommend Leaf.

5. Fantastic food and service, great atmosphere as well, couldn’t believe the size of the portions, deffo recommend it….
