I have been to Lock&Key kitchen and Bakery for English breakfast
This place is beyond amazing!
Food is fresh and very tasty. Place is so cozy. Staff are professional. Price is very reasonable.
I totally recommend this little lovely place if you in Liverpool centre in the morning time for a unique experience of fantastic cafe drinks and food
We spent a very pleasant night at the Lock and Key Hotel in Liverpool this week.
The staff were super friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. Thanks to the central location of the hotel in the middle of the city, we were within a walking distance of many great restaurants, bars and sights.
After we had checked out in the morning they even offered to store our luggage safely behind the front desk for some time, which we considered to be very helpful. That way we were able to explore the city a bit longer without having to carry around our bags all day before we had to catch our train in the afternoon.
That was a great service and we can highly recommend this hotel!
Wonderful staff made us feel at home very helpful. The breakfast was great, cocktails very nice. The room was large very clean and tidy wonderful decor. Very good bathroom with large shower. Bed very comfy. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in the centre of Liverpool. Will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.
Excellent location, right in the heart of Liverpool with great access to all the bars & shops.
The staff were friendly on the day & happily supplied us with fresh towels & loo roll once we informed them we hadn’t any in the room… Unfortunately though, I am still chasing an invoice for my stay almost 3 weeks later which is a little disappointing.
The Room itself was satisfactory, I would however highly recommend you ask for a room that is not at the rear of the building. Our room had no air conditioning & overlooked the kitchen, if we slightly opened our window for some fresh air the room was completely filled with the smell for cooking fat & grease!
Rooms look okay, nicely decorated but once you scratch beneath the surface you find it’s not a nice hotel at all.
The biggest problem was the smell of damp which eventually saturated my cloths and couldn’t be washed out. I find it hard to believe that the hotel don’t know that this problem exists because the smell is very strong.
The shower is not well enough contained meaning that water goes everywhere which aside from being dangerous is clearly compounding the damp issues.
A kettle tray is provided but nowhere to plug it in, cheap consumerbles and no spoon for the tea/coffee and just generally not very well thought out if im honest.
No accessibility so if your disabled don’t bother, they couldn’t provide a ground floor room so my crippled mother had to crawl up the stairs as no lift.
Receptionist was very nice and helpful 👍
Overall a very disappointing experience for me. I would not recommend.
