Lucia Restaurant

1. This is the second time we have been, and it was perfect for our girls’ day out. The starters were perfect to share, and the meals were all fresh and hot. We were seated inside to start off with but we preferred to sit outside. This wasn’t any trouble at all. We would recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

2. Visited here on the recommendation of our daughters.
   Nice layout to the place , spread between a couple of buildings and a wide, open-air alleyway with awnings and outdoor heaters.
   The food was lovely, and I can also recommend. Just make sure you book in advance

3. Baked goat cheese appetizer was fantastic. My partner’s lobster ravioli he said was quite good. I’m vegetarian so ordered the artichoke ravioli off the vegan menu. The dish arrived so hot it was maybe 10 minutes before I could eat any, even cooling each bite. It had must have been microwaved to be that hot. The artichokes, not many, and roasted red peppers were good, the “risotto” and sauce definitely not. I love a good risotto, this was rice in an oily yellow sauce. I guess it was saffron. The rice wasn’t creamy as expected, and kind of hard/crunchy inside as though it was undercooked. The pistachio cheesecake was not exactly a cheesecake, but was very good. I was disappointed overall tho, as friends ate here the night before and loved everything they ordered. Perhaps the vegan menu doesn’t get the same care as the regular entrees. It’s shame, vegetarians/vegans are so happy to see a special menu. We’re just visiting, but won’t go back if we come again.

4. Without a doubt the best Italian we’ve ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place, the food, drinks the décor, atmosphere and music all just work. We opted for indoor seating as it was less busy Vs the heated outdoor area, although it had a great atmosphere.

5. We visited here on a Saturday late afternoon around after 4pm. Entered very lovely interior very modern. We was sat down by the stairs just on a table for two people which was fine, but after a few minutes it got very loud as we was sat next to maybe a tablet of 10 being so loud my partner wear one cochlear implant and he could barely hear me so most of the night we sat in silence, also non stop people walking past and the table was next to a window and people where sat on the other side and my anxiety was going through the roof and felt uncomfortable in general where we was sat, didn’t want to say anything because felt embarrassed maybe next time will mention it in booking notes if they read them because some restaurant don’t 🥲 we had a steamed muscles in spicy tomato which was a big portion but something I make at home noting special, he has the pork bell which basically was one pork belly cut into two but I guess that was fine for an appetiser. For main we had lobster ravioli which was nice but not made fresh like it would be in a real Italian restaurant and he had the seafood linguine which was average again nothing special would be better if there was some actual full tiger prawns added to it also very bland but each to their own. Dessert we both had the chocolate brownie which was very nice. There was a bit of a delay with one of our drinks had to be prompted to get it to us. Over all dinner was average nothing amazing.
