The Bacon Grilled Cheese burger I had was good. The grilled cheese taste definitely enhanced the flavor of the burger. The Mac and Cheese was very lacking considering it was a $2.50 upgrade from Fries. The Mac and Cheese didn’t have a cheese taste to me. I tasted noodle 70% of the time. The portion size was filling. The Caramel Roll was too dry. The size of the roll was impressive. We split it among 4 people just to taste it. The Breakfast Monte Cristo was very good and probably the best deal for the price.
I took my 10 year old son here today for the first time and it was amazing. We had breakfast; I had the French toast Benedict, yum! My son had kids French toast with bacon. Our server was Nick and he was awesome. Definitely will be back to try lunch!
The building is in the back so it can be a little confusing, you have to go just past the hotel entrance to get to the restaurant connected to the hotel.
Service was excellent and the food was amazing and they had great choices, except for there is no kids menu here.
The service was great. Had a juicy lulu. It was really good. Subbed cucumber salad for the fries. I was honestly surprised how good the cucumber salad was. Overall a delightful meal.
The best place in Plymouth !!
That’s what I said about Lucky’s in 2022. 4 stars across the board. I was even sent them interest in doing my up-coming Groom’s dinner there, next Spring.
But what happened yesterday still boggles my mind.
I was handed a bill for $33. I had planned to use cash to supplement my spending, if the total was over $50.
So I hand a guy my card and prepped to leave. When he came back, he had a receipt that said he ran my card for over $65!!!
I was in complete shock. So I asked him why he would do that. He said he realized he gave me the wrong receipt and ran it for the right one… Without even telling me that he was doing it.
I told him I had no intention of putting anything over $50 on my card and he suggested voiding it and running my card for $50 then I could give him my cash for the rest.
Anyone who works in retail knows that’s not how banks work.
I was so frustrated I went back in and asked for a manager, just because I’m like, no way is that ok, right? To run someone’s card for an amount they didn’t agree to?
The manager suggested the same thing as the guy, even after I reminded him that my bank will view it as a purchase then a return, because that is how banks work.
If he had asked me “how can I make this right for you” I would have said void it and allow me to put it on another card, so my bank doesn’t see it as 2 $65 transactions, when I knew to only spend $50. But he never asked that. He just told me, “well we got the money we needed, so…” So much yuck.
