Been to Aberystwyth a few times and didn’t know this was here. How we have been missing out. The food was very tasty and it was good to be able to come to Wales and have Caribbean food. The portions are very good and you will not go hungry. We even had some to take away. Service was fast and friendly and we felt very welcome. We didn’t pre book and were still accommodated, it was full when we left.
Had food here last night, didn’t book as was a last minute thing, (3 bikers passing through wales) thought we would try something a little different. Was delicious! Service was fantastic too. One noticeable thing was how fresh the chillies where, they where slices on the side and top as a garnish. (I like to eat them all) they were crisp and full of taste. Service was great also. Will be back next time passing through.
Lovely place, with amazing food and service. We went for my mums 60th and they came out with a lovely cake for her. Second time we have visited when we are in Aber and it has always been a wonderful memorable visit.
Lovely little place, i was a little aprehensive at first as this is beyond my typical simplistic tastes but the food was delicious (I had jerked pork with rice) and not overly spicy.
They have good vegan options too, my sister is vegan and had no trouble finding food and said it was lovely!
Our server was very friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience much better and the prices are very reasonable.
I would recommend you give this place a try if you’re looking for something different.
They also offer take-away if you want to eat at home!
Visited on a Saturday evening, but booked that day as walked past a few times and always people in. Nicely decorated vibrant place, friendly staff and excellent food. We sat in the rear of the restaurant, would of preferred the front but was full so understandable. We had the curried goat, with rice and peas and the jerk chicken with sweet potato fries. Both were really tasty and good size portions. Good range of drinks available at reasonable prices. We had cider and lager, but wine is also available. Would definitely visit again as there’s lots more we want to try from the menu. Would recommend a visit.
