Mama’s Way

1. I just ate my sandwich and wow, amazing. Ventricina, scamorza and rocket (arugula) on bianci bread. Incredible. I also got a slice of the lemon and ricotta baked “cheesecake” again amazing. The sandwich was about £7.50 and the cake was £8.50 for a hefty slice good for two people. The lady behind the counter was so nice and helpful. Considering the cost of pret or other chain places this is so much better. Go, you won’t regret it!

2. What a little gem of a place, exactly what floats my boat. We finished the evening there after a mediocre meal at Veeno.
   The Ripasso was a not unreasonable £42.
   Definitely on my list when next in Reading.

3. Amazing selection of charcuterie (or salumi) and cheeses to choose from while chowing down on a tasty pinsa and having a good chat with Nicola! Good see places like this in Reading.

4. What a wonderful Italian deli not far from the city center. They have cooked food available for takeaway and limited seating for dine in. I bought some Italian cheeses. The owner was very kind and friendly.

   For this place I can not find the right words and difficult so amazing

   My reviews are always very long complete specifications and are always the result of the sensations I feel.
   As I often tell when I’m outside Italy I avoid going to the Taliani iPhone most of the time but occasionally I do it for various reasons and when I find something good I’m happy and I give a good review this one is different from all the others
   In fact, today they don’t review the classic pizzeria or trattoria or Italian restaurant … something different happened to me.

   Nicola caught me immediately with great kindness and with equal professionalism
   It’s a little corner of Italy in the UK
   Inside you will find authentic Italian products that come from the best gastronomies of the best producers
   Going back to Italy in the past Sunday in every small town there was the local grocery that included bakery and salami factory Matteo also added the Italian cuisine and even used something more he prepares delicious Panuozzi and the Roman pinsa you owe him also typical desserts such as homemade tiramisu as we Italians know it must be done
   I can also guarantee that the products they use for the condiments are really of great quality artichokes mushrooms aubergines and anything else all really very good all also for sale if you want to take it home but if that’s not enough you can also ask for a deliveri not only nearby but everywhere in the UK.
   Obviously you let customers taste the products and this is really a great gesture, explains, tells and advises.
   I only know him today by chance as I entered because my partner and I were intrigued by the sign and I saw him convey his culinary culture and emotion.
   I would add the place has only very few seats but you can book your shift all day and believe me if you really want to try something typical Italian this is the right place for you I will also give you another tip maybe you are not nearby but you have to go for example like in my case to try the spas in Bath … it’s a good example well you still have to make a change in Reading well why not make a slightly longer change and treat yourself to a nice meal from them?
   In short, I dwelt on but it really was my duty to talk about this place so a round of applause to Nicola who fell very young and that’s where you are waiting for another round of applause goes to Dario who collaborates to carry on the local I certainly live in the area even if not very close I will come back to eat with them even if only for the warm welcome they give you and with great certainty I will take their products which I send by courier
   Finally, I repeat, really go to them to eat, you won’t regret it
