Absolutely amazing. I had sweet & sour chicken balls with egg fried rice – a lot less greasy than other Chinese restaurants! Friendly and kind staff, and food on the whole delicious.
APPALLING!!!! I would advise do not eat at this restaurant under any circumstances. the food was extremely poor quality, ribs were virtually bone only and tasted as though they had been re cooked several times!. They charged £6.75 for a bowl of rice with very sparse vegetables. The chow mein was tasteless and greasy, claiming to be king prawn but in my opinion was a standard size prawn/shrimp. They got our order incorrect bringing a side dish of noodles! Why would I order 2 noodle dishes! Customer service was abysmal, on complaining that we felt the food was not worth the price charged, waitress claimed she would need to reimburse the owner personally (great management) for any underpayment.!!!!!!. Strangely the manager was unavailable , her attitude completely lacked any customer care whatsoever. To give some context, we are not ‘precious’ have eaten our fair share of Chinese meals and realise the food is not ‘lovingly cooked by Ken Hom in a sizzling wok….however given most of it is delivered half prepared in a refrigerated lorry….they still managed to **** it up. This may be ok if you’re a ratarsed student at midnight…but if you prefer edible food, served correctly, at fair price go to Iceland (store, not country) buy and cook yourself.
The best restaurant in town, fabulous food, great friendly service. Excellent value.
Food was OK but I never had gravy on a chow main dish before and it really doesn’t work for me. We had pints of Stella and Boddington and they were bad and so we switched to bottled beer which was fine.
Excellent Chinese restaurant. The quality of the food is very good. The Manager is polite and helpful. A very nice place to unwind and enjoy an unrushed meal. Highly recommended.

The worst thing about his place is atmosphere. Décor is old and uninviting. The waiter and probably the owner was very polite but he played xmas songs even though it was January already, there were gaps of 3-5 minutes between each song, and all xmas decorations were still there. Strange experience.
It’s hard to recommend this restaurant.
