Marugame Udon Kensington

1. All in all, a very decent place to eat. The staff members were friendly and didn‘t hesitate to explain how to order at their place. The food was good as well, nevertheless it did not overwhelm me. However, the atmosphere was fitting and calm.

2. Inside the train station, this noodle place offers many tables to customers.
   Pleasant atmosphere.
   You order and collect with your tray.
   Choose your main and you can add your own extras before you pay.
   Food is good, tried the tonkotsu icon and added extra chilies from the complimentary bar. The hand made udon noodles are very chewy and tasty.
   Good prices.

3. We had the chicken Katsu curry with rice was delectable, side tempura which was crispy as anticipated. Chilled drinks were chilled. Sparkling water and sparkling fruit sake- fizzy and chilled as expected. Quiet for a Sat night but still enjoyable. A couple of interesting diners, one of which clearly enjoyed his meal as expressed by the loud burping sound effects. The higher jumper on the stairs should stick to his day job!

   The Kake Udon was really good.

5. Great place if you want a quick bowl of udon. The service is really great, you get your food really fast, and it tastes really nice! Though I do think you can get better quality udon dishes in other restaurants around London for similar prices.
