Mayfair

1. First time here, my friends who’s been coming here for almost 30 years took me, and it didn’t disappoint. The fact that they are returning customers for such a long time speaks for itself. In here you can bring your own alcohol, and shop next door has a great selection for good price so that’s very convenient, which will bring your bill considerably lower if you are paying just for food. The food is very tasty and cooked to perfection. Simply put, this is a fantastic Chinese restaurant that you will be coming back to again and again…

2. We first visited the Mayfair Restaurant over 30 years ago. This is still a very special restaurant. The food is excellent, the quality of the food is really good. There is a fabulous atmosphere in the restaurant. The price is more than reasonable. We were a party of 12, and the service was outstanding and quick. The staff are so polite, professional, and very helpful.

3. Me and 4 of my friends went to May fair on 2nd August 2024 for dinner and it was a very good experience.
   As they dnt serve drinks, we were asked to get our own drinks from outside.
   The food were served within 5 minutes after ordering it.

   1. Chicken fried rice. 8/10
   2. Schezwan chicken 8/10
   3. King prawn with veggies 10/10
   4. Singapore chicken noodle 8/10.
   5. Chicken cashew nut 3/10 ( lacked the zing and flavors)
   6. Chicken chowmein 8/10
   7. Mushroom rice 8/10
   8. Banana fritters 7/10 ( the bananas were too riped) I’ll recommend to have then in ball shape rather than a long string, cause then the banana separates from the batter.
   9. Hot and garlic sauce mixed veggies 8/10.

4. This is a little gem of a place. Michael has been there for too many years to mention and they still deliver the best service and food in Nottingham, somehow at good prices.
   Don’t forget to pick up your wine at the off-licence next door, who also deserve a mention.
   Great night out.

5. We love it here! It never changes, you always know exactly what to expect and people keep coming back.
   The guy who runs it is very friendly and takes the time for a chat.
   Would thoroughly recommend- great food and service.
