I normally wouldn’t give such a bad review because what can you expect from a McDonald’s. But this was such a terrible experience. For starters we didn’t get a receipt, then we waited around 45 mins before not hearing our number. When I asked about when I could expect to get my food it seemed lig they didn’t even know my order and I had to tell them everything I ordered. They were sold out of about half of the things I wanted and I got a quarter pounder with cheese as compensation. BUT there were no cheese, no sauce og anything. Just bread and patty.
And it wasn’t like they were short staffed either. I counted around 10+ people and 3 of them just walked around doing nothing.
Come on guys do better
They have a big problem when it comes to customised dishes (whenever you adjust the ingredients in the meal). It wasn’t even the first time they couldn’t read properly and make the burger as asked. I customised the McCrispy Deluxe today so that it doesn’t include caramelised onions and relish, and what they’ve given me was just two pieces of bread roll, a chicken fillet and a bit of sauce! No salad or ordinary fresh onions. The last time I also excluded one ingredient from my burger and they couldn’t care less and also just gave me bread, meat, and sauce. Absolute irresponsibility towards customers’ wishes. Hope someone teaches the staff to read. At least they re-made the burger tho.
Called in to this mcD’s on our way home last night and it was absolutely packed with people who’d been out for the evening. The orders were dealt with promptly and the food was hot, security staff were present to ensure there were no incidents and it was very clean and tidy despite so many people using it.
I want to shout out to the two cleaning staff on duty in particular as they were working non stop to clear and clean tables, mop the floor to ensure it stayed dry so no-one slipped and the toilet in use was kept clean and tidy. Not an easy job especially when there were so many people in and out of the building. Well done! They were both very pleasant too. Thank you.
We had a great time in Belfast, the 2 days we stayed, the only bad moment we had was when my asked to use the bathroom 1am Friday. We ordered takeout, the bathroom was being used by clients , but when my wife went to use it she was refused by 1 security guard for no reason. She asked why, he said don’t care and don’t have to give you an explanation.
A young Belfast couple couldn’t apologize enough to my wife, they were in complete shock what they had seen,
My wife has a Dublin accent and we believe this was the issue.
Not a great place in my opinion, staff seem to be on their phones, chatting without getting work done quickly. Managers also seem to not care about the negligence from employees.
Food is alright, although you often might get cold fries.
