Meat & Mo Smokehouse

1. I tried them today and for the first time in my 11 years living here, trying every barbecue place in the North, I’ve finally found one that is actual proper barbecue, it might not be Kansas City style, but it was amazing!

   They only open from 3pm-9pm and quickly sell out because their food is so good and unlike others are serving you fresh smoked meats from that day. I learned that the hard way. Showing up at 4pm and they’d already sold out most items on they’re menu. So lesson learned, next time I’ll be ordering a meat platter at about 12pm to be sure I get to try everything.

   We managed to get some brisket, a brisket sandwich, mac n cheese, and lots of cornbread (There was even more then shown in the pictures lol) and everything was so good, loads of food and and nothing left. Even the pickles served with it reminder me of the proper good pickles I’d of got from a barbecue place back home in Kansas City.

   Extremely friendly workers as well.

   I can’t wait to go back and I recommend to everyone to try them.

2. Glad to taste Halal Brisket in Belfast. The Dirty Mo’s Fries was really loaded and was really good, We really recommend it. The brisket was reasonable portions and delicious. My son loved the bun. It was filling.Mac and cheese was absolutely delightful. Thanks for the last free wings guys, Really nice service. We definitely will be back.

3. Simply perfect, from the service to the food, I was surprised by an explosion of flavor. This is worth more than five stars. As a good Brazilian meat lover, I can say that this place is perfect.

4. Absolutely outstanding BBQ. Everything is next level. Some of the best wings, brisket and short rib I’ve ever eaten and I go to a BBQ festival for ten years running. The sides are also fantastic, special mention to the beans and cornbread. Can’t wait to go again.

5. It’s not much to look at and it’s real easy to miss this place tucked in away from the main road but the folks that run it are lovely and it’s the food you’re here for.

   These guys are making some of the best BBQ you will eat anywhere on the planet. The brisket and short ribs are falling apart but still so juicy. The wings are the best BBQ wings I have ever had.

   Their sides, sauces and pickles are all amazing, the cornbread is incredibly light and not too sweet, the slaw is fresh and crunchy, the fries are perfection and the ones that you find under your brisket if you get the platter have all that smokey flavour soaked into them.

   I can’t recommend this place enough.
