Megan’s on the High Street Restaurant (Kensington)

1. Visited London and found Megan’s on the happy cow app. The vegan brunch and vegan pancakes were hands down the nicest I have eaten in the year of being vegan! My husband had sausage and eggs on toast and said was lovey too. Super friendly staff especially disha our server! Very welcoming and well looked after! When back this way we will def call in again

2. Stopped in for a quick breakfast not knowing what to expect. Decadent food and good service from my waiter (Yasmine). Despite it being quite busy, the food came out quickly. Decent portions. The iced latte was deconstructed when brought out. Quite good, I was just surprised by it. Everything tasted fresh.

   The one negative is that the loo is downstairs so not handicapped accessible, and the stairs are a bit steep when walking with a cane.

3. I’ve been to Megan’s for a fast lunch break with my friend, and I absolutely loved it. The staff members were so polite and quite efficient, and my baklava was one of the best I’ve ever eaten.
   I highly recommend it.

4. I was drawn to it while passing by a couple of people sitting at the outside tables on a sunny day. I wanted to avoid chain cafés that are plenty in that area. Very positive experience overall. Had a lovely brunch and coffee here. Staff were very attentive and also recommended some dishes and sides to try. Food was high quality and very well prepared.
   Reasonably priced for South Ken.

5. Nice decor and food was ok for chain food. Service was very poor, staff were rude.

   We were a party of 14. We were given menus and mostly chose the mid week special. The waitress took some of the orders and then said I’m sorry, we can’t give you the mid week offer as there are more than 6 of you!! We pointed out that it didn’t say that on the menu so she came back with a scrappy menu and said well it says on here – err – really??? And still refused the offer. The burger was dense, chewy and unpleasant. They took some drinks orders but not everyones. It felt like a jumbled mess and the staff didn’t give a damn. Not good and expensive.
