Moe’s Original BBQ

1. I thought this bbq place was out on HWY 6, but I could be wrong!
   Not that I am complaining about this downtown location.
   Love the sweetness of the corn bread!
   The rib n the pickles are almost perfect combination!
   And go great with IPA!

2. A couple of coworkers and I were in town for work for a few days, and Moe’s was our second meal during our time in Oxford. We went for dinner on day 2, and everything was great. The lady who took our orders at the counter was polite and helpful. The food was excellent and also picked me up some nice Moe’s apparel for souvenirs.

3. I got pulled pork, beans and potato salad, food was average and I’ve had better. After I got home I found that they charged me a 20% tip that wasn’t listed on receipt and I never had the opportunity to select a tip, but it was on my bank card though. I won’t go back. Better compare your card statement to your bill. The owner contacted me to correct this issue which was nice of him to do, but I figure this is a done deal and I’ll leave it as is. I still will not go back, this was my first and last time that I’ll go there.

4. Moe’s is great!!! I ate there for the first time today and I was greeted with smiles from the whole staff. they were really helpful in telling us about the menu. they also got our plates out very quickly! and not to mention, the bama style pulled pork was at the top of the list of the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. the baked beans and mac and cheese are wonderful as well!! Moe’s is a great environment for all occasions!

5. Delish!!! Best smoked wings I have ever had. I tried my husbands catfish and it was perfection. Crisp on the outside but melt in your mouth inside. He said the red beans and rice were the best he ever had too. Totally worth every penny spent.
