  1. As a person from Kerala, I don’t think you can top the authenticity of the flavour’s anywhere else. I had Porotta, beef ullivaruthathu, appam, and fish pollichathu and a lovely peg of Old Monk. It filled my soul and my colleague loved it as well. The hospitality was great too. It actually felt like home(Kerala) and would 100% recommend Monsoon if you want a homely feel and if you want to share the emotions of food to your friends around here.

  2. Loved the ambience and the food served by Monsoon. It’s really a wonderful experience in Belfast especially for all South Indians and those who enjoy Indian food. The staff service is fantastic. It brings back the nostalgic effect of being at home through its old magazines and the nettipttam showcased at the reception. It has a cozy vibe. The food served is very delicious and feels home. So if anyone misses their home food just go to monsoon.

  3. Had a really nice dining experience at Monsoon. The food was incredible and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. Different from your typical Indian menu. Can’t wait to visit again!

  4. The food was excellent! I had beef, Biryani and some of the traditional south Indian dishes. They were cooked in perfection. The service was awesome. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was amazingly perfect.
Overall, this was an incredible dining experience. …I had a great time at this restaurant!
All the best for the one and only Authentic Traditional Indian Restaurant In Belfast……

  5. Exceptional and authentic. Very clean and quality ingredients. Different than a lot of the standard Indian fare. Malabar cuisine is a great niche among the Indian options, as it is seafood heavy, coconutty but not as sweet or fruit-flavored as some Malaysian or Thai curries. We also found the food not over-the-top spicy, although it had plenty of kick and heat.

Would recommend. Especially enjoyed the fish mappas. Keralan style paratha was exactly right – flaky and rich without being greasy or burnt. Perfect together with the curry or biriyani. Courteous and attentive staff.
