Mount Gurkha Bistro

1. Myself and a group of friends drove an hour and a half just for this restaurant. It was their suggestion, and my expectations were unknown. Upon arrival to this place, we were all greeted with an extremely wide smile on the owner’s face, starting conversation and immediately offering amazing service. I have never had such hospitality and interaction with the owner of any establishment as such. I was the only British person in the group, and to my surprise, I was offered a Dhaka Topi. The staff seem to really respond well to those who care enough to take in the culture and atmosphere, as the place is decorated with cute memorabilia and decoration, providing cultural meaning, and personality. There were no issues with the service from anyone whatsoever, in fact the opposite, only exceptionally satisfactory service was provided. Every request was met, service with a smile, and the staff know when to approach with conversation and when to withdraw. Overall vibe and atmosphere has to be a 10/10.

   Now you must be wondering, this is an establishment that serves food, so let me explain… the food was amazing. If I could come here every week I would. Nothing that I ordered required change or adjustment. I have had food from other Nepali/Indian restaurants and nothing beats what they offer here. We ordered chatpat, chilli chicken, buffalo sukuti, chicken sadeko, mango lassi, chowmein, and momo. Each dish was perfect, each flavour put in burst upon each bite, creating a sense of fear that the experience would eventually end. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air, and it’s competition should learn from the example set. Pictures will be added from the food.

   I highly recommend anyone close enough to try this place to check it out. Even if you have to travel for it, I would never change my decision to go. In fact, I will make sure I go again. Quality, quantity, and brilliant service. Never had 5 people eat for such a low price and be full.

2. We had a fantastic dinner at Mount Gurkha Bistro with a large group, and it was perfect for a family-friendly outing. The owner is incredibly nice and makes you feel right at home. There’s convenient parking right in front of the restaurant, which made things easy for us. The food is delicious and offers great value for money. We highly recommend it for a warm and welcoming Nepalese dining experience!

3. Best place and very rationally priced. Authentic Nepalese cuisine with best taste similar to that from Nepal’s local restaurants.
   Owner dai and Bhauju are awesome and friendly.

4. While searching for the best Nepalese cuisine, a friend recommended this place, and it exceeded my expectations. The food was incredible—authentic and full of flavor. It brought back memories of my homeland, Nepal 🇳🇵.

5. Friendly, quick and absolutely delicious. Absolutely blown away by the flavour packed into their dishes and incredible reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone.
