Nestled between shops in the centre of Lisburn, this little place is easy to miss and we walked by it many times always forgetting to give it a go.
That was a mistake, because we were missing out. The food is excellent. Nicely presented, with amazing taste and a great selection.
Prices are excellent with a bring your own policy on alcohol which is great and the staff are friendly attentive too. Nice ambience and decor. Chilled and relaxed.
Parking is available nearby next to Lisburn Square and it’s free after 6pm.
Was in two minds about writing this review as would like to keep this hidden gem to myself, but they deserve the review and the credit.
Try Nee’s. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely disgusted. Ordered online via there website, order was taken and money taken from my account. The website specified that they were waiting on confirmation from the restaurant, I waited for a long time and no confirmation received. I then tried to call the restaurant on multiple occasions but no response. I then drove to the restaurant to check status of my order and it was closed. I am furious as they did not indicate that they were closed and not taking orders. Definitely would not recommend. I am not sure how I get reimbursed for my order which was £40 but will definitely be pursuing this. There is no option for me to rate this place as zero for me to be able to place this post so please ignore the 1 star rating. DEFINITELY A ZERO!!!!!
Omg absolutely amazing Thai food and I’ve tried a good few!!!! The taste, portion size and presentation was impressive. It is only a small restaurant so best to call if you plan to dine in. It’s BYOB. Staff were attentive and polite.
This was our first and last takeaway order from here. The crispy honey beef came with……no beef – just a box of vegetables. The pork was full of fat and gristle: not edible. Very little meat on the ribs (£7!). To round it all off, no sweet chilli dip came with the prawn crackers. Very disappointing.
The food is amazing had the satay and it was delicious, the yellow curry was pretty yummy too.
The only gripe I have is the price of the rice. I went with my family, we’re oriental so we consume a lot of rice we ended up ordering 9 bowls which worked out as £31.50 just for rice. What makes it funny is we just bought a 20kg of Thai fragrant rice for £25.50. My suggestion for the owner is maybe charge full price for the 1st bowl and a wee discount for any more.
