Absolutely fantastic. I rocked up with no table reservation on the off chance, they managed to find me a table right away. The flat iron steak was the best I’ve had, the peppercorn sauce was out of this world. Great friendly service and quick to serve the full 3 courses. Highly recommend
good food done well, excellent service and spacious inside. i had the pork schnitzel special with garlic herb butter on top which was excellent, my other half had a chicken dish which was very tasty also. came to over £70 total but we also had one starter to share and 3 alcoholic drinks. nowhere is cheap these days!
This was our first time at Neill’s Hill Brasserie and I’m so glad we decided to give it a go. Just a great meal from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and it had a great atmosphere! Starters were Cauliflower Wings in hot sauce and Halloumi fries, mains were Smoked haddock, mash, poached eggs with mustard cream and chicken schnitzel, desserts were creme brulee and apple tart. My wife had a Grapefruit Gimlet cocktail which she described as “delicious!” I could fault any of these dishes, they all tasted great and every plate was handed back clean! We will 100% be back for more and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant!
Wife and myself met with 2 friends for afternoon brunch. Met by waitress Ellen and another girl whose name I didn’t catch. Directed promptly to our seats where our friends were already seated. Orders taken and drinks delivered promptly. Main courses (2x chicken schnitzel, 1 haddock & chips, 1x sea bass) arrived very quickly. Thankfully a large noisy group had just left so we were able to thoroughly enjoy our food that was very very tasty and amply portioned. We all commented how much we enjoyed. Another round of drinks and desserts ordered and equally delicious. (1x boozy brioche, 1 trio ice creams, and 1 cheese board (2 cheeses ordered) ) Really set off the afternoon which we all really enjoyed. Well done to waitress staff and chefs and management. Already hoping to get back, maybe the tapas night some Wednesday. All in bill was £152 excluding tip.
v friendly place, atmosphere and staff are great, signature NH burger came incredibly dry and flavourless with a single piece of promised bacon, very far from worth the £17 price. Chips were good as well though.
