New Garden

1. We had a lovely time here, food was great, the waiter looking after us was absolutely amazing. Very funny guy, made the experience a lot better. The food all arrived OK besides my dish, my starter came long after everyone else had finished theirs which was a bit unfortunate. Besides that, really good experience, would recommend

2. A tantalising atmosphere with fish tanks, koi pond, grand piano, all backed up by – without exaggeration – the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life. The staff were fast and the owner friendly, if you live anywhere near this place get down there ASAP.

3. After so many people recommending new garden, we thought we’d try it out. Very friendly staff, a bit grubby inside but ok. Food was quite expensive so was expecting good things. Restaurant was heaving too, also a good sign.
   Food arrived. Everything we ordered was very bland but the meat especially tasted boiled, tasteless, very chewy and we couldn’t eat it. One of the meals was fillet steak Cantonese style £13.50, I couldn’t even chew it. Thick chewy, rubbery and tasteless. my husband ate some as he was starving, but we left everything pretty much. When they came to clear away they were shocked we had finished, asked if we wanted it packed up, to which we replied no thanks, not one waiter asked if everything was OK or if we enjoyed. Very disappointing.
   I’ve never written a review before, but paying all that money to walk out and get alternative food says it all.
   I’m just amazed so many people recommended it. Very disappointing

4. Fantastic food! Best Chinese in the Bridgend area for a fact 💯👌

5. Absolutely delicious food. I recommend the Cantonese sizzling steak, duck in plum sauce and the smoked garlic chicken. We always book an early table and we find the food comes out then at a good pace. We had a young toddler with us this time, they offered us a highchair straight away. Great service.
