Newport Landing Restaurant

1. I came on my birthday 7/17/24 after whale watching and it was so great, I came again tonight.
   I had salmon, and my husband had half and half fish and chips. I have a lot of allergies and they accommodated all my needs better than other restaurants.
   They offered us some fried zucchini on the house and that was fabulous.
   The salmon was delicious. The veggies were perfectly cooked. My hubby said the fish and chips was great.
   The view is beautiful. The staff was top notch. I can’t give credit to just one because many came to our table. One brought my water, another brought my hubby’s beer, then someone else brought the food, then that same girl brought the free zucchini, then another brought me a plastic fork, our actual service came in between asking if everything was good if we needed anything else.
   it’s definitely a team effort.
   I am making this my special spot to have a great meal in a great atmosphere.

2. I absolutely love this place! It has one of the best sunset views in Newport Beach! Top 3 in fact. As the sunsets over the bay, the whole This place lights up with Beauty it’s a don’t miss!!!

   Ok is this the best food u have ever had, No but it’s pretty darn good! does it have the best dining view in Newport? YES Does it have a great Happy Hour Yes!! Does it have great food for the price YES!!!!

   This is one of those hidden gyms that a lot of people don’t know about, but it’s a really special and fantastic place. The staff are all very, very nice. A lot of locals come here to grab a drink at the upstairs bar and the view is outstanding especially at sunset. I love this place and it’s a go to for me.

   I come here for the happy hour usually and I’m satisfied with great drinks and great service. I don’t necessarily come here for the food come here for the vibe and the drinks. I feel like it’s a really great value!

3. A trip to Newport would not be complete without stopping at Newport Landing restaurant for Happy Hour. And if that happens to coincide with sunset – all the better. Every once in awhile if the weather is just right, we opt for dinner instead. The food is fresh and they go the extra mile to make it visually appealing, which just adds to the great vibe. Service is always friendly, and if it’s a bit slow because they get busy, just enjoy the view.

4. The food was good overall. The oysters were excellent, but if they charge $9 for a small plate of nachos, they should have better cheese on it. The garlic bread was spectacular.

   I recommend sitting outside – it was really beautiful. Our server was attentive and cordial – zero complaints about the staff.

5. Super nice staff. Beautiful setting. Food was amazing. Parking a challenge but worth it. Highly recommend.
