This place had the best reviews in the area, so booked a table to try. Nice looking restaurant , bar area downstairs with the restaurant upstairs. Husband loved his prawn cocktail and creamy chicken dish, daughter was a bit disappointed with her pizza, had better she says, my sea bass was nice but some of the prawns were overcooked and not peeled properly. Veg accompaniment was a bit plain, wasn’t keen on the potatoes. Olives were lovely to start, nice flavour and juicy. Desserts were also very nice. It was busy in here so advise you book, only open on certain days. Separate vegan menu. Staff seemed friendly and polite.
Myself and my partner visited here this evening, we had a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived by the manager who was instantly smiling and happy to help. We were very spontaneous and walked in hoping for a free table. They were nothing but helpful and took us to a nice spacious table. We had starters, mains and deserts and every single dish was absolutely gorgeous! I was even trying to eat it slowly I was enjoying the food so much. Full of flavour, exactly what we love. No faults whatsoever with the service we had or the food. I’m not a desert person either but because I loved the starters and mains so much I was intrigued to have a desert and I’m glad I did. I would highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant with great staff and a fabulous atmosphere. Thank you for looking after us so well xx
Another good meal here. The second in a week. What a lovely restaurant. Excellent food, attentive and friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere. Our starters were broccoli and spinach soup with a delicious garlic bread also olives. Then Bolognese with fettucini instead of spaghetti. My husband had a good pizza. A very enjoyable visit.Thank you.
first time here since change of name etc, impressed that they had a separate vegan menu; i really enjoyed the garlic pizza and the cherry pudding, will be returning soon
Perfect evening for our Xmas meal, we all cleared our plates😊 so something for everyone , staff very attentive and friendly would definitely recommend
