Northern Cobbler Coffee Roasters

1. I recently visited Northern Cobbler and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The service was appalling; the staff were inattentive and unaccommodating. To make matters worse, there was hair in the butter. When we asked for the butter to be replaced, we were told they had rannout.

   The so-called sourdough they served was nothing more than cheap white bread, a far cry from the quality we expected. Normally, we go to the location on Queens Road where the service and food are amazing, but this branch should not exist! Overall, it was a thoroughly unpleasant dining experience. I would never recommend this Northern Cobbler location to anyone, nor will I ever be returning.

2. Completely unassuming coffee shop and cafe. Almost Nordic in style, they’ve got very nice coffee (I say that as a coffee enthusiast) and was nicely surprised by the quality of the food. Breakfast and lunch options aplenty, and from what I’ve tried, all very tasty and well presented, and good value too.

   I almost don’t want to post the review so as not to make it over crowded as it’s a lovely local place for me.

   That said, they deserve all their success.

3. We came here for lunch last week. The cafe looks classy, clean and elegant. Plenty of space for parking at the back once you turn off the main road. They do not serve halaal meat which was a slight disappointment, nevertheless the menu had plenty of great options. All of the food menu items ordered were sublime. They tasted fresh, authentic and delicious, really impressive. Unfortunately, the cream shakes were a real disappointment, they look stunning but has anyone actually tasted them before rolling them out, no actual flavour and mainly tasted watery with lots of ice. Overall, a pleasant lunch!

4. I am enjoying coffee and food here. Lovely staff. Great place for family time.
   Everything is clean and fresh.

5. Friendly staff. It was quiet, clean. Very strong high quality coffee.
   Fancy ish food but wasn’t fabulous. Good tho
