Novio’s Bistro

1. This was a business dinner and our last dinner in Bangor before returning home. Novio’s solid reviews are what drew me to come here. The prix fixe menu was appetizing to all of us. I added the wine pairing to the meal which added to the experience. The food was prepared with exceptional quality and the flavors all melded together. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an intimate setting with high quality food and service. After a couple of days of pub food, this was a beautiful conclusion to this trip! Novio’s did not disappoint.

2. Everything was perfect. The food was amazing. All three of us got different things so we could taste more items. All dishes were scrumptious. The service was great. The owner, Bob, spent time with us and we loved it. Can’t wait to return.

3. One of the best meals of my life and the best meal I have had in Maine. Everything about this restaurant is perfect. Attentive friendly staff with an owner presence. My food was cooked perfectly and the wine parings were customized and on par. I have nothing negative to say about this place! It is better than Michelin star restaurants I have been and should have one!

   The menu changes frequently so check the website. FYI if you are at the bar you can order à la carte. The dinner menu is not a true prefix in the sense that you have options for each course.

   If you enjoy a wonderful meal in a bistro environment you will not be disappointed.

4. An absolutely stunning anniversary dinner. This 4 course meal was beautiful and absolutely delicious. The handcrafted drinks were high quality, creative and perfect. The place is small and doesn’t look like much from the street, but inside is a whole different world….warm and inviting. The bartender was gracious and attentive to anything we needed. Well worth saving your pennies for an exquisite fine dining experience in Bangor, Maine that rivals any big city. We will be back. Thank you!

5. We recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience. The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch, making it a great choice to celebrate our 12th anniversary here.

   The humorous banter of the waitstaff added a delightful touch to our evening, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their upbeat music paired perfectly with the dark but chic ambiance, creating a relaxed yet stylish environment.

   The food was nothing short of amazing. Both the steak and the pork were the best we’ve ever tasted. The attentiveness of the waitstaff was commendable, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a smile.

   This restaurant truly offers a remarkable dining experience. 10/10 would recommend!
