Oriental Jade Restaurant & Bar

1. We saw this featured on Maine Life and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! It’s a hidden treasure. It’s a beautiful establishment as you walk in with a welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at the door and our waiter Elijah was amazing. We ordered the General Tso Chicken, Mandarin Beef, and Crab Rangoon. All were so delicious. We will definitely be back.

   My partner also had a Zombie cocktail and it was so good, he also said he got a little buzz off of it, they don’t skimp!

   If you haven’t visited Oriental Jade, you need to add it to your must do list now!

2. From the moment you walk in, the ambience is excellent. I loved the little water installations and the murals. The food here was hands down some of the best Asian food in the area. The Pork Belly bun and the Ramen were my favorites in particular. Please please stop here and have dinner, you won’t regret it!

3. The very first issue was that, in a pretty much empty restaurant, they sat me with a server that had a 30 top as her other table. Second, the food! 🤢 I ordered a Rainbow Roll and Ramen. The sushi could no be picked up as soon as you touched it it fell apart. Wasabi that was on the plate was oxidized. The ramen was a whole nother story, the noodles were coagulated together like they had been microwaved or something. They did remove the ramen from my bill but, again my server had a 30 top and didn’t have time to listen to what I had to say about the rest of the meal.

4. We ordered the $50 Family Special. This was the best Oriental Jade food that I’ve had in a long time! It was so full of flavor. You could see it by the color of the rice and the lomein. Everything is so expensive these days but this meal was a great value for the money!

5. Such delicious food!!! Great portion sizes and very reasonably priced. I wish I didn’t live in Georgia so I could get here regularly. Our server Emma was very patient and attentive. It was a “catch up” lunch among out of town friends and the location was a perfect meeting spot as well as the atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit to Bangor ❤️
