Origin 101

1. We had a wonderful lunch yesterday. High quality ingredients and presentation. The best part though was the warm and friendly welcome from the beautiful young lady on reception. She attended to us throughout our visit with great care and consideration. I didn’t catch her name but she is a wonderful asset to the restaurant and should be highly commended for her exceptional customer service.

2. Exceptional cooking, prepared with real thought, skill and not a little panache – all three courses had great balance and bags of flavour. A warm, genuine welcome from the front of house staff, and although quiet in the wake of a busy private event we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

3. Origin welcomed a group for a meeting on the 3rd July. Boy howdy, the scotch eggs and raclettes for nibbles at the start were addictive. I went all fish for starter and main. The battered whitebait plus spicy aioli and the coley were excellent. Highly recommend.

4. I had the good fortune to attend a 50th wedding anniversary dinner at Origin 101 on Friday, June 22, 2024. It was a fabulous meal, with excellent service and a very attentive staff and hostess. I only wish I lived in Moira so I could dine there often.i asked if they would. Insider opening a location in Connecticut, USa and I can only hope. If ever a restaurant deserved a. Michelin star, that restaurant is Origin 101. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

5. Service was really friendly both in person and on Instagram. The food was really good, I had the Korean Fried Chicken and the chicken was really nice and tender. There was a bit too much sauce on both burger and korean fries for my liking but appreciate the generosity. The brownie was amazing! All in all, highly recommend!
