  1. Really enjoyed dinner here! I traveled about an hour to dine after reading many great reviews. I will say the food is excellent and service is very good. It was a unique experience. Intimiate dining area with only a few tables. They course everything out nicely. Service is attentive. I would say it’s absolutely worth going, but wish I was not staying so far from it. Overall I enjoyed the authentic French dishes and would recommend to a friend!

  2. Very quaint frenchy place. I feel like I was transported to a Parisian bistro in Paris. The menu is also very French, though I was surprised to find black pudding in my veal sweetbread dish. Portion is also rather big. The wine list is very good for a restaurant of this size in uk. Overall, I’m very happy with the place and intend to come back.

  3. Excellent food and service. Our starter was late due to human error, but we were well compensated, including free wine and a special dessert. I ordered the calf’s brain (which was really nice, even though I was a bit scared at first) and the lamb Wellington. The wines were absolutely fantastic. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. Five stars.

Also an inspiring name of the restaurant. Very cool.

  4. And while lighter appetites might go for an excellent tuna tataki with pickled mushrooms and ginger and chilli dressing, you really need to enter into the spirit of the place with something like Scottish scallops, baked in the shell in a crust of cracked, flaking pastry. It looks like the weather-beaten talisman of a Santiago pilgrim, anointed with beurre blanc.

  5. Just wow – a complete haven, you feel like you’re entering another world – and your pace naturally slows down from the business of London. Couldn’t recommend the food, atmosphere and fantastic service here enough. Already planning a return trip!
