Once you get past the convoluted booking system and get the magical text it’s brilliant.
The quality of ingredients is fantastic everything is fresh and perfectly cooked.
I loved the combination of salad and pasta and forced a slice of tart down too!
Wine is excellent and on tap and sparkling water is free.
If you are deciding between waiting in queue or going elsewhere, it’s worth the wait especially if you can nab yourself a seat at the kitchen table as it becomes an experience on its own.
It is a really cool way to see the whole team in action and how they coordinate all the moving parts in their open kitchen.
They also served unlimited sparking tap water on the house which was a very welcome surprise.
We ordered the Cacio E Pepe as well as the Tagliarini – both very delicious and very fresh. Minimum wait times even they were busy.
Great spot pretty much at the entrance of Borough Market
Even we waited in the queue for about 1.5 hours, but the food is definitely worth the price. Servers are nice and have a sense of humor , very welcoming. Sour dough bread is a little bit on the sour side if you eat with just the butter, but it was great to use as a dip with the leftover source in the pasta.
Padella London Bridge has hands-down the best pasta I’ve had in London. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the central location.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with a charming outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying a warm summer evening. The aroma of freshly cooked pasta wafting from the restaurant is truly mouthwatering.
Service: The service is efficient and friendly. I was in and out within 35 minutes, which is exactly how a pasta restaurant should be.
Food: I tried the Ravioli of Westcombe ricotta & sage butter, and it was absolutely delicious. The sage added a lovely flavor, and the pasta was perfectly cooked.
Value: Padella offers incredible value for money. It might be the lowest-priced and best pasta in London by a long shot.
Tips: Be sure to book your table on the app in advance, as it can get quite busy. If you need a drink while waiting for your table, there’s a pub next door.
Overall, Padella London Bridge is a fantastic spot for a delicious and affordable pasta meal. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.
Thank you for serving the best pasta in London with such efficient and warm service! The sauce is very flavoursome but also very light. The texture of the pasta is 10 out of 10. The portion of the tiramisu is very generous and it tastes so rich but light. Sitting at the counter and observing how the kitchen runs is full of fun. Will definitely return to try everything on the menu!
