  1. Great place for Italian food. Our first night in London after staying in Italy for 3 years. Notwithstanding the fact that Italians claim that you shouldn’t eat Italian food abroad we tried it anyway and we weren’t disappointed at all. Yes it’s definitely more expensive but the food was really good. And the service is so much better than in Italy. The acoustic is pretty lousy and the interior nothing special but the vibe is good. Fun fact; our 11 year old daughter got her meal for free!

  2. Really good pasta! It’s pretty much all one needs to say about Padella. The space is nice, the dessert was pretty good, a nice selection of wines… And really really good pasta – enough of a variety, but not an overwhelming choice. I wish they did a veggie version of the carbonara.

  3. A spacious and bright environment, the noodles have the perfect texture,
and the seasoning is spot on for this price range.
The tomato seasoning on the Fettuccine with tomato is great—perfect for those looking for something light and refreshing in the summer.
The Tagliarini with Dorset crab is rich in seafood flavor.
Lastly, the dessert was affogato with vanilla ice cream. Though its presentation was ordinary, the taste was authentic and delicious.
I look forward to coming back to enjoy the food again.”

  4. We went to have dinner before a concert and I was surprised to find that they had space for 2 even though we didn’t have a reservation (the high tables or the bar seatings). It was early enough on a weekday evening that it wasn’t as loud as usual which was really appreciated.

We ordered some Nocellara olives, Salame della Rosa to start with, Tagliarini with Dorset crab, Papardelle with Dexter shin ragu, and tiramisu.

I’ve had both dishes before, and they’re both tasty but I particularly love the crab one as the flavour of the crab with the lemon and herb is so well balanced and fresh.
I would recommend that big eaters order a starter and/or a dessert, as some might consider the main dish portion on the smaller side.
I would have personally liked a stronger coffee flavour in my tiramisu but it was delicious nonetheless. Very indulgent, but light at the same time.

Our waiter Josh was quick, efficient and very amiable. We were always served promptly. I have a strong preference for this Shoreditch branch and will obviously keep it in my go-to’s.

  5. Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
We ordered the Burrata, Bruschetta, Cacio & Pepe, Pappardelle with beef ragu, Tagliarini with chili and garlic, and tiramisu.
Finlay was very helpful with his recommendations to ensure we enjoy our dinner!!

PS: be careful, the Tagliarini with chili is quite spicy.
