Panera Bread

1. This morning I went into the Panera Bread store in Blue Springs to get some bagels. The young lady behind the counter, Ella, was extremely helpful! She had a smile on her face the entire time and I could tell she genuinely wanted to be sure I was taken care of and happy throughout the time I was there. She even helped me set up the app on my phone. Charles and his staff are fantastic and I will be back!!!

2. I frequent this location, used to love but food and service quality is degrading. On the latest two take out orders, the baguettes were missing on the first one and it looks like the throw the left overs they had on the second one, wrong orders, you name it. So disappointing. We have a family of five so we spend a descent amount of money, it is not worthy.

3. Placed a catering order the night before to take to a meeting, but must have messed something up because it never went thru. The girl doing speedy pick up tried so hard to find the order in the system. Then the gentleman at the counter was rushing to make my order so I wouldn’t be late. Just wanted to let them know how much I appreciate them getting me taken care of. The screw up was definitely on my end (no email confirmation and no charge to my card). Thank you both!

4. I go daily to get my free, unlimited drink and I usually pick up a bagel as well but lately my favorite asiago cheese bagel has gone from a delicious and firm bread to a doughy bread lacking color. It taste like they’re not baked all the way. I’ve had my daughter bring this to the employees attention but nothing has changed. I now just go for the free drinks but that will change at renewal time. They do have a very tasty sourdough though.

5. Told I was unable to customize my order by staff. Sat at a booth and something was smeared all over the wall. The table was clean. Got my food and the turkey on my sandwich was still frozen. Lettuce was wilted and browning. Love Panera, but to say this location was a disappointment would be an understatement. I will not be returning, I would have found more satisfaction in setting 30 $1 bills ablaze.
