Parallel by Pasture

1. Visited for my partner’s birthday and was not disappointed. We went for the chef’s tasting menu and it was incredible.
   I can see why everyone raves about the croquettes and carrot, they were absolutely delicious, we could’ve eaten a full plate of them! They even brought out a happy birthday treat and the chefs sung happy birthday to my partner.
   The staff made us feel very welcomed and Harrison was very attentive and ensured our glasses remained topped up.
   We were sat right by the kitchen and I thought it would be awkward.. I was wrong! The chefs were very chatty and had great banter and we loved watching them cook.
   We can’t wait to return and try some other dishes Parallel has to offer.
   We finished the evening off by visiting Nightshade for some drinks, these were also incredible. The decor and the attentiveness from all members of staff was second to none.
   Highly recommend!

2. My husband and I dined here for his birthday meal yesterday. We decided to try the Chef’s Tasting Menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice – there was not a single course that wasn’t a complete joy for our tastebuds. Well cooked, beautifully presented, and a wonderful array of flavours. The service in Parallel was perfect from start to finish. The only drawback really is the very small, somewhat cramped setting, which must make it very difficult for the staff to move around and can definitely make you feel boxed in as a customer. However, it wouldn’t be enough to ever deter us from coming back, and we can comfortably recommend the Chef’s Tasting Menu at Parallel to anyone who is considering a visit!

3. We actually went into the sister restaurant next door but as they were full they recommended this gem of a restaurant and showed us to a table there. The service was fabulous all round. The food was outstanding as were the drinks. Highly recommend the tasting menu it’s amazing and definitely worthy of compliments to the chef.

4. Great dinner! This place deserves more attention like its sister restaurant just next door! I think their menu changes from time to time. We ordered the flat bread covered in beef butter, it tastes amazing!

   When the crab toast arrives, I thought it might be difficult to cut in half for sharing. But the toast was very crunchy, yet it still able to maintain the shape.

   The croquettes has a lot of different flavours, but all the them blended very well.

   Everything was very good, I wish I can come back and try the other stuff.

5. Absolutely brilliant.
   Make sure to order: octopus, flatbread, cheese croquettes, fried chicken, tomato salad and the porcetta. But you can’t really go wrong – they do everything well.
