#Perch
We recently visited Perch Cafe and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, Imogen and Chris made us feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth and genuine hospitality were beyond compare, and their friendly, attentive service truly elevated our visit. The food was simply phenomenal—each dish was beautifully prepared, fresh, and flavourful. It was clear the staff put great care into every detail, making for a delightful morning that exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Imogen, Chris, and the entire team, we’ll absolutely be returning soon. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love it here! I go often with my work being close and I’ve never had a bad meal or drink. The staff are super friendly too. It is small so book a table if it’s the weekend and particularly if you’re travelling.
Nice place, lovely pastries, lovely food. Overall the experience we had was generally good.
The staff though, they weren’t rude but they weren’t the best either. They were quite dismissive, maybe because we were there dead on 9 even 9:03 and they weren’t open and we were the first there. It wasn’t bad but not the best. Little off vibes. Overall if you want a nice Sunday breakfast or lunch it’s a must try.
Finally, I got the chance to try Perch. Wasn’t disappointed as the Americana coffee was very good so was the chocolate pistachio and I think apricot cake. One of the staff offered me a new espresso that they are promoting, so as I like coffee I decided to try it. Personally I preferred their own house brew over the espresso but it was still pretty good. I would definitely recommend Perch👍🏾
My first visit to Perch was lovely. A rustic menu with plenty of gf, vg and nut free options. Plenty of seating and excellent service.
Huge pasties are available. A little expensive but it’s good if you’re sharing! The food was very yummy. I ordered the Harissa Toast which was a little too spicy and not balanced for my taste but the rest of the menu items looked amazing.
The coffee beans have a fruity taste but very well blended. Overall a nice spot for coffee and brunch but expect to pay £9-£13 for any brunch item. The pastries cost £4-£7.
The interior has lovely tall windows with lots of natural light, I wish there was more artwork on the walls as it felt bare.
I will be visiting again to try the other items. But not regular visits due to the high prices.
