Pieminister Manchester

1. I’ve always loved pie and Pieminister. I may be biased, but I feel like all veggie/vegan pies in Pieminister are so good. However, the star of today dish is actually the new Yorkie Pud Stick. The Yorkshire puddings are so unreal and blended so well with mash and gravy and pie fillings.

2. Pieminister pie is really good, I saw the Google review and decided to try it. The free ranger pie of chicken, ham, leek & thyme was very good indeed. Loved the mash and the minty mushy pea. Definitely will come back to try their other pie.

3. I went for ‘bottomless’ brunch today with 3 friends. We’ve tried our fair share of brunches and we’re all quite disappointed with this one.
   Only one of us received what we ordered (we couldn’t tell until it was too late as everything looks similar) however what we all had was very tasty and filling.
   The drinks weren’t coming out fast enough and what did come out was served in small glasses with half portions.
   Staff told us we’re only allowed to have one drink a time – managers orders – This would be fine if we didn’t have to wait 15 minutes between minuscule drinks.
   The atmosphere felt flat with no music playing and very little enthusiasm from the staff.
   Another table doing bottomless brunch was also unhappy with similar complaints.

4. Love the food they serve here. We all had a variation of pie and mash and we all loved the food. Waiter was so lovely and we didn’t wait long.

5. Right off the plane we wanted to have something traditionally British, and what’s better than pie and mash! We chose the place based on the good reviews and let me tell you – the Pieminister lived up to all our expectations!

   We had the Mothership, which is a pie of your choice on top of mashed potatoes and topped with the best minty mashed peas I’ve had, chunks of cheddar cheese and crispy onion. Everything comes accompanied with a boat of gravy!

   Our choices were Fungi Chicken pie (chicken with an assortment of mushrooms) and the Moo & Blue (beef with local blue cheese) based on our lovely waiter’s recommendation. Both were fantastic!

   ♿ The place is not wheelchair accessible as there are steps at the entrance and the upper floor and the aisles are narrow. There’s outdoor seating area but can’t be used if it rains
